Sippy Cup
We have started to introduce Nora to the sippy cup and she loves it. She is so funny when she tries to drink out of it. We have been putting either water or some watered down juice in it. She really likes the juice better but we have been limiting her. She finally figured out if you tip it towards your mouth you will get more in your mouth. She usually has a soaked shirt when we are done with the cup, but is a learning experience. She also likes to bite on the cup too. I think it feels good on her gums. Our little girl is getting big! Two more months until she is 1!! Where did the time go?
Daddy and Nora swimming
Peter did Nora's second swim lesson with her. I got strep and didn't want to get into the pool after being sick. They had a short, but nice lesson. The water was a little chilly because the temp outside was colder than last week. About 15 minutes into the lesson another child threw up in the pool so everyone had to get out! That was the end of that lesson, but the instructor told us we would add another one on to the end. Nora just loves the water!!!
St. Patrick's Day Parade
We took Nora to her 1st Parade today! We had alot of fun. The weather was better than they had predicted. The sun came out and it was almost 60! Much different than the forcasted 50 and cloudy. I wish I would have known that because our poor Nora got sunburned. I am sooo sad, her poor little cheeks are so red.

A new blog!
Well, it has been a while since the last time I blogged. Life has just been so crazy that I just can't seem to find the time. So let's catch everyone up!!!
February came and went. My sisters boyfriend and I did a medical study together to earn some extra money and can you say I did it!!! Me, who is terrified of needles got stuck a total of 71 times during the three weekends of the study! Oh yes, crazy I know, but it was soooo worth it. As a reward to myself I bought a nice new camera that I have always wanted. I bought a Nikon D60 and it is awesome! It takes such great pictures and I have been a camera freak since getting it. So you will probably be seeing lots of pictures through email or on this blog!
The first free weekend in February was Mardi Gras. It was a little cool, but we had a lot of fun. My sister, Katie, lives in Soulard and had a party after the parade. This was a lot of fun considering it had been 3 years since my last Mardi Gras. Peter and I got downtown around 11:00 and came home around 6:00. We had a little too much fun that night! I also got to visit with my friend from KC! I haven't seen Jenni since Nora was born. Her and her husband came to Katie's for a few hours and hung out, it was great catching up!!!
The last weekend in Feb. we went to Chicago to visit Grandma and Grandpa, Uncle Tim and Aunt Candace and other family and friends. It was such a great visit. Our friends Mike and Maureen had their new little Gavin, so we got to meet him! He is sooo tiny and you forget how tiny they come out. He was almost 2 pounds smaller than Nora, so he was really small. While we were in Chicago we went and had Nora's pictures taken. I just can't tell you how much I love Portrait Innovations. Every time we have gone there they have been great. Her pictures were just adorable. It was a great trip, but too short as usual. Nora had a lot of fun spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa is a big toy to Nora and she loved climbing and playing with him. She also started crawling and pulling herself up that weekend. It was so neat that she decided to do this in Chicago so Grandma and Grandpa could witness a first!
Other than that we have been staying busy. I am still working at WW on Tuesdays. I have applied to another graduate program! I am going to go back and get my administration degree. I am just waiting to see if I have been accepted into the program. I will start doing that in the Fall. One more week until Spring Break! Yippee! I will post more soon! Love you all!
