Nora is almost 3 weeks old!!

Nora is almost 3 weeks old! She is doing wonderful! She went for her two week check up on Wed. and the doctor said she is great! She is 1 oz. shy of her birth weight and has grown a 1/2 inch. She is a wonderful baby, she only cries when something is wrong. I hope I am not jinxing myself. She is going for two long stretches at night, which is nice. I am pumping and everyone is getting a chance to feed her. This coming week will be the true test! Debbie is going home and has been a great help. I will be by myself this week, with the help of my mom on an occasional day. It should be an interesting week. Here are some more pics, I think most of you have seen them already! Nora Eileen Reid

Well she is finally here!!! Nora Eileen Reid entered the world on Monday May 12, 2008 at 12:38 pm! She weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 1/2 inches. She is perfect! Labor and delivery was fast, I am not going to say easy because nothing about this process has been easy. No one can ever prepare a women for the pain of contractions. Luckily they have wonderful drugs to help with that pain. I received an epidural at 3.5 cm dialated and everyone was thankful for that. My labor progressed pretty fast and we were pushing at 11:50 am. It was so cool. I love my doctor and she made me help her deliver Nora, that is right I helped deliver my beautiful little girl! The Dr. delivered her head and shoulders and I helped get her the rest of the way out. She was wide eyed when she came out, just looking around. I started to cry when they said she was a girl. I had convinced myself that we would be holding Chase. We cannot decide who she looks more like. You put my baby picture next to her and it is kind of scary, so we are waiting on Peter's baby picture as well. Her hospital picture did not do her justice. Here are some pics that we have taken. We are doing pretty good, adjusting to being home, which is harder than I thought, but luckily we have a great support system. Thanks to everyone that has been by to visit and for the wonderful gifts. We are so lucky to be blessed with such great friends and family! That's all for now! Enjoy the pics!

A growing belly!!!!

So I took my last weekly picture tonight! 40 weeks, who would have thought I would be this big?!! Here I am along the way! It starts with my 20 week pic, then 24 weeks, then 30 weeks, then 34 and finally 40. Hopefully the next pictures I will be posting will be of Tink!!!
