Cookie Baking 2012

Today we baked cut out cookies. This is an annual tradition in the Bromeier family. We have been doing cut out cookies for as long as I can remember. This year we had everyone but Susie and my Grandma. Susie was studying for finals and my grandma was sick. We started at noon and finished up around 2:30 or so. Nora and Jalen last a good while too. They had fun cutting them out and decorating them.

I am not sure if you can tell here or not, but they went to town on a few of the cookies. There was more sprinkles than actual cookie on some of them ;)

Nora was very proud of the cookies she made! She even brought some to school with her to give her teachers today!

Daphne's Baptism

Last Sunday Daphne was baptized. Peter and I are her godparents so we got to partake in the service. It was a nice service and they had everyone back to their house afterwards. Here are some pics! it was a warm day for Dec. 2, almost 75 degrees, that is why I have a short sleeve dress on. It was neat too because Daphne wore the same dress that Nora and Stella wore. I love that it is being used again. I wonder who will wear it next?!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a yucky day for me. Peter and I had food poisoning and it was bad. I had it the worst and it lasted all day long. I was banned from the kitchen and that is the way it was. My great plan of shopping was thrown to the wayside as i was in bed at 8:30 on Thanksgiving night. Anyway, here are some pics from the day!

I straightened Nora's hair that morning with my flat iron and it looked so cute! She hated every minute of it because it was too hot!

Isn't he getting so big! He just looks so grown up in this picture. I just cannot believe he is going to be 10 n 2013!!

Nora was all about letting me take her picture, which is rare, so I snapped away!

Happy Halloween!

On Sunday we headed to mom's for Sunday dinner and we carved pumpkins too! This has become a tradition and it is a fun one! Nora was soooo excited to carve pumpkins this year and about Halloween in general.

For Halloween we headed over to the Kountzmans house, as usual. They are always so gracious to host Halloween and this year was no different. Uncle Ray makes his wonderful chilly and we eat and go trick or treating with Jalen. Nora was a bit of a crab (no pun intended) and she has become so bossy. And really it is only when I am around, when I am not she is a pretty kind kid. Anyway....this year the girls went as Ariel and Sebastian. I don't think we will have many years that we will be able to dress them the same or themed costumes. Nora had a great time going house to house with jalen. She made it pretty far (in my opinion). She chased after Jalen and told a joke at every house. I knew she was getting close to being done when she quit carrying her pumpkin filled with candy around. We hit a few more houses and headed back to the house. She certainly was wired!!!
Grandma and her little Crab!

All of the Grandkids! And Nora has a new thing where she doesn't want to be in pictures. That is why she was crying!

I even dressed up this year as a vampire. I put the fangs in and went to show nora and she cried and cried until I took them out.

Stella is ONE!

Can you believe it?! Our sweet Stella girl is ONE!!! We had her birthday party on her actual birthday, which was fun. We had friends and family join us for the party and Grandma and Grandpa came in to town for the party too! We went with a pink and orange theme because she just looks so cute in those colors.
The adorable shirt was made by my neighbor, Martha and I made her tutu. She was just so funny walking around in that little outfit all day!

So a recap of Stella for her 1st year. We went to the dr. yesterday and she got 4 shots, poor baby girl! She weighed in at 22 lbs 5 oz. (75th%ile) and is 30.5 inches long (90th%ile). She did great at the doctor. She showed off her walking and climbing skills for the doctor. She is down to 1 formula bottle a day and is enjoying real food. She likes most fruits, veggies and pretty much anything we put in front of her. She loves getting in to everything. There is not a safe place in the house! And she loves her sister. If Nora has something Stella wants it. It think Stella's favorite thing to play with right now is the remote. Wow! She certainly has grown and I cannot believe my baby is one!!

Pumpkin Patch

Nora, Stella and I headed to the pumpkin patch this afternoon with the Wilson family! It was a very warm day for Oct. 13th, I think it reached 80 today. This is a different patch than where we have gone before, but we still had fun. Here are a few pics.
